Characteristics of hypersensitive narcissistic

Hypersensitive narcissism is a subtype of narcissistic personality disorder (NPD). Individuals displaying hypersensitive narcissistic traits have a persistent need for admiration and attention from others, but also exhibit acute sensitivity and reactivity to criticism. They often have a grandiose sense of self-importance, entitlement, and superiority, and can be extremely demanding and difficult to please. They may become enraged or offended when they feel slighted or criticized, reacting with defensiveness, anger, or counter-attacking behaviors. These individuals may be highly anxious and emotionally unstable, and may struggle to maintain relationships due to their extreme self-centeredness and lack of empathy.
