Causes of climate change

Climate change is a complex phenomenon caused by a variety of natural and human-induced factors. Natural factors such as volcanic eruptions, changes in solar radiation, and variations in the Earth's orbit contribute to climate change. However, the overwhelming evidence points to human activities as the primary cause of recent climate change. Burning fossil fuels, deforestation, agriculture, and industrial processes have released large amounts of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere, which trap heat and lead to global warming. Other human activities, such as urbanization and transportation, have also contributed to climate change by altering land use patterns and releasing additional greenhouse gases. The magnitude and speed of human-induced climate change is unprecedented in human history, and urgent action is needed to address its impacts.
