What are the steps involved in qualitative research analysis?

In qualitative research analysis, the first step is to familiarize oneself with the collected data by reading through all of the documentation. The second step is to identify themes or patterns that emerge from the data. This involves coding the data and developing categories that help the researcher to make sense of the data. Once the data has been coded, the researcher then begins to look for relationships between the categories and to identify any overarching concepts that might emerge. Finally, the researcher will draw conclusions from the data and develop a written report that details their findings. Throughout this process, the researcher must remain open to new ideas and be willing to revise their approach as needed.
